About the Founder

Kimberly, founder of Mighty Oaks International Nursery & Kindergarten and Acorn Playhouse, is a respected expert in early childhood education. A graduate of Brown University, Glion Institute of Higher Education, CUHK, HKU, St. Paul’s School (USA), HKIS, and DGJS, Kimberly combines her world-class education with her passion for nurturing children’s development as a mother of two. She serves on the boards of Bloom KKCA Academy, EdUHK Jockey Club Primary School, and RCHK Island West Hong Chi Morninghope School and advises the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital Foundation.

As a sought-after speaker at prestigious events hosted by HSBC, CPA Australia, and Goldman Sachs, Kimberly is recognized for her expertise in education, parenting, and character development. Featured in SCMP, Hong Kong Economic Journal, and HKBusiness Times, Kimberly has built Acorn Playhouse into a world-class community where academic excellence, play-based learning, and character development come together for families to thrive.

"My wife and I brought our 3 young boys to Mighty Oak's Playhouse and had a great time. My wife had been to an open day with our 2 year old before and loved it, so we came as a family and really enjoyed our time together. The 3 hours went really quick, and we were able to chat together and with other parents whilst our kids played in all the different play spaces.
